RENOVATION
330 Madison Ave
New York, NY
This project started as a small office renovation for the developers of 330 Madison, that soon turned into a larger scope that involved us setting standard for the entire building.
This was Handel's first Corporate Interior project, and I was responsible for leading the design efforts. I worked with the Principle and Senior Associate from Schematic to Construction Administration.
The developers were looking to set new standards for their office suites, starting with this particular suite and expanding the scope onto other floors.
Details were kept minimal and delicate, being inspired by nature. In the conference rooms you see the carpet tiles cut organically to mimic lichen, while you see white oak at the entry and pantry. Folding acoustic baffles were also used in the conference rooms to add bold depth over the conference table, while improving acoustic performance of the rooms.
