My first project at Handel Architects, this is one of the first of its kind, a Luxury Senior Living project situated in Manhattan.

I assisted the Principal and Partner in creating the FF&E package along with coordinating shop drawings with manufacturers, and working with the procurement agency for the scope of purchasing through installation.

The furniture was custom-made to meet requirements for accessibility and fire safety. Details were also carefully considered to ensure comfort and safety for seniors, such as soft seating corners, seat depth, armrest height, table bases, stain repellant fabrics, etc.

While pursuing the technical details, we maintained the concept of keeping the interiors tied to the outdoors, and bringing wellness into the space through vibrant colors, lush fabrics and organic patterns.
